As someone coming down from Green Bay to Denver and across on 70 and down, i have to ask, is it better ti go down to Albuquerque than going west then down into Ontario?
I live just outside Denver and have taken both routes. Going west on I-70 is about 100 miles shorter. Most often the weather is such that going through Albuquerque is a better option. This year the weather probably won’t be a factor, but there is construction on the I-70 that may slow things down a bit, so which route you choose probably comes down to a coin toss. I haven’t yet decided which I will take.
