Locating the Pack

Seems to me that there was a link “somewhere” that showed where the pack was. Those who wanted to watch from a bridge overpass, or other vantage point could click on it and locate where it was.
What was the link?

Good question! For several years, the Southern Route used donated trackers as part of a road test process for a company that was developing new equipment. Other Routes or even individuals, have shared location info through other systems that may still be available. I’d recommend you contact your Route’s RC to see if he has made arrangements for tracking.

Last year I registered on Life 360 and invited friends into my circle. They were able to jump on the app and see my location. If a spectator knows someone in a pack they can see their location via this app. Best part, it is free unless you desire some of their advanced features.

As Rear Road Guard I do use a Spot tracker but my location may not be with the pack many times. By the time I get past a bridge the pack may be miles ahead.

Thanks.
I’ll keep looking.

This year I’m going to be running the REVER app that will send out a link to track real time.

Which route, Stitch?
