This post is a reminder that anyone entering a federal facility such as Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) or Riverside National Cemetery (RNC), MUST ensure the following:

You do not bring a weapon of any kind, including knives.

You do not bring your GMRS radio if you have one. This is facility dependent so to remove ambiguity and ensure compliance, don’t bring the radio.

Effective May 2025, you are required to have a “Real ID” or approved alternate ID such as a US Passport, Passport Card, military ID, or DHS Trusted Traveler card (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI). Non-US citizens must have a passport or alien registration card.
According to federal regulations, offenders may be subject to a fine, removal from the premises, or arrest. As a result, you will be checked for these prior to being able to attend these events so please be responsible and ensure you comply.
