So glad the forum is up and running. I’m registered for this year’s run as a first-timer (FNG) and of course I have a few questions. I registered for the 2021 ride, but of course, that didn’t happen. So I’m glad I finally got around to making the commitment this year. All my hotels are booked for the Southern Route, double beds, so I might be looking for a roomie. I’m a happily-married retired Marine living in Tampa, FL where I retired from the Corps in 1997. For a while I taught Elementary School (1st and 2nd grade). I ride a lot so I’m anxious to attend this event. Looking forward to meeting what I am assuming is the most amazing group of people around.

Yes, I’ll be riding all the way. Planning the Iron Butt 50CC ride to get the bike from here in Florida to out there in California. Sorta a goal I’ve had for some time, to go coast-to-coast, so in honor of my 70th birthday this year, and with the need to get my bike to California being the impetus, it’s time to do it. No need wasting time, just do it under 50 hours! Lol. Where will you be coming in from? I’ll be coming from Tampa, FLorida
